With this song we wanted to tell people about the synergy of one’s inner conflicts and the\u00a0ways of resolving them. I’s important for us that people know that sometimes we also\u00a0struggle with our demons. Writing this song is our way of effectively dealing with these issues\u00a0and hopefully others can also relate this concept. To represent this idea in the music itself as well, we decided to use only analog instruments and synthesizers and blend them together\u00a0seamlessly in order to display hese inner battles and their resolution.<\/p>\n

Myra Monoka and Mongoose (Seoul Station) have been releasing music together for a\u00a0decade now. We are always more than excited to work together, because we know that at\u00a0the end of the day we are going to bring out the best from each other. Our journey began years ago, but we feel like the end is nowhere near and there are way more songs to follow.<\/p>\n

To follow the sonic concept of this duality, we wanted to make sure that it is represented visually as well. The blurred contours of Myra on the artwork is in contrast with the sharp\u00a0moment that was captured with the help of a flashlight. Myra Monoka is a singer\/songwriter and music producer based in Budapest, Hungary, who creates an exciting blend of contemporary r\u2019n\u2019b & soulful electronic pop. Having collaborated\u00a0with many well-known local artists in the past, she is now focused on releasing her own\u00a0songs, working A-list producers such as Grammy Award-winning Matt Lawrence (Adele,\u00a0Beyonce\u0301, Amy Winehouse). As a songwriter\/producer, Myra has done many sessions with\u00a0international artists from London to Paris and Los Angeles, has landed a Top 4 hit on Beatport\u2019s House charts and has been featured on BBC Radio 1. Myra has been shortlisted\u00a0for the MIDEM Artist Accelerator Programme and has played showcase festivals in Prague,\u00a0Sweden and Hungary.\u00a0Myra has been studying classical music since age six, and attended the famous Bela Bartok\u00a0Conservatory in Budapest, Hungary. In 2016 she sharpened her music production skills at
\nthe SAE Institute in Miami, USA, where she had the opportunity to learn from a renowned\u00a0group of teachers, such as the 3x Grammy Nominated, multi-platinum winning Krunkadelic\u00a0(Elton John, Sean Paul) Myra has been to songwriting sessions in Nashville, organized by\u00a0Desmond Child (Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Kiss), as well as the first ever S\/SC (Stockholm Songwriting Camp) event in her native Budapest.\u00a0Seoul Station (Mongoose) has been producing music since 2012. With the Mongoose alias\u00a0he worked together with international acts like Dub FX and made official remixes for\u00a0Awolnation and The Qemists. His recent works are more playful\/soulful, but still synthesizer\u00a0focused disco and melodic house.<\/p>\n
