Kimi zaman bir ritimle, kimi zaman bir melodiyle ba\u015flayan bu yolculuk, dinleyiciyi hi\u00e7 bilmedi\u011fi co\u011frafyalara ve yeni ke\u015fiflere ta\u015f\u0131yabiliyor. \u0130\u015fte bu yolculukta kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131\u011f\u0131m\u0131z isimlerden biri de Tallisker.<\/p>\n
Bu hafta rotam\u0131z\u0131 Fransa’ya \u00e7eviriyoruz. Bir\u00e7ok dinleyici gibi ben de kendisini o \u00e7ok sevdi\u011fimiz “Dilek Ta\u015f\u0131”na getirdi\u011fi kendine has yorumu ile tan\u0131d\u0131m ve kabul edeyim dinler dinlemez de bir s\u00f6yle\u015fi i\u00e7in heyecanland\u0131m. Sosyal medyada ba\u015flayan sohbetimizi bir ad\u0131m \u00f6teye g\u00f6t\u00fcrebilmemizin do\u011fru zaman\u0131 yeni EP’sinin ilk \u00e7\u0131k\u0131\u015f\u0131na k\u0131smetmi\u015f. “K\u0131smet” ismi gibi bize \u00e7ok yak\u0131n duygularla bezenmi\u015f ve bizlerle kurdu\u011fu ba\u011f\u0131n \u00f6tesine de ge\u00e7erek Do\u011fu-Bat\u0131 ili\u015fkisini, kimlik ve aidiyet meselelerini konu\u015fmak i\u00e7in de g\u00fczel bir kap\u0131 aralayan bir \u015fark\u0131. Bu arada g\u00fczel de bir haberimiz var ki kendisi ile mart ay\u0131nda \u0130stanbul konserinde de bulu\u015faca\u011f\u0131z ve s\u00fcrprizlerine de a\u00e7\u0131k olaca\u011f\u0131z.<\/p>\n
Ben bu sohbette d\u00fcnden bug\u00fcne yolculu\u011funu dinlemek istedim. T\u00fcm bunlar\u0131 dinlemek isterken bir yandan da ar\u015fivindeki t\u00fcm \u00e7al\u0131\u015fmalar\u0131 da dinleme \u015fans\u0131n\u0131 buldum ve bundan dolay\u0131 da b\u00fcy\u00fck mutluluk duydum. Sorular\u0131m\u0131 keyifle ve heyecanla \u00f6zetlerken kurdu\u011fumuz bu dostluk bir ba\u015fka dostumun Emre Kalc\u0131’n\u0131n da \u00e7eviri konusunda deste\u011fi ile tamamland\u0131 ve kar\u015f\u0131n\u0131za iki dilde \u00e7\u0131kt\u0131. S\u00f6z\u00fc \u00e7ok uzatmayal\u0131m ve bir yandan \u015fark\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 dinleyelim bir yandan da d\u00fcnyas\u0131na merhaba diyelim. Music has a way of transcending borders, bringing together different sounds, cultures, and stories, while allowing every artist to leave a mark of their own. Sometimes beginning with a rhythm, sometimes with a melody, this journey can take listeners to unfamiliar places and introduce them to new discoveries. Tallisker is one of the artists we have discovered along the way.<\/p>\n
This week, we turn our attention to France. Like many listeners, I first discovered Tallisker through her distinctive interpretation of \u201cDilek Ta\u015f\u0131,\u201d a song we hold very dear. I must admit, the moment I heard her version, I was excited at the prospect of interviewing her. As it turned out, the perfect moment to take our conversation, which began on social media, one step further came with the release of the first single from her new EP \u2014 quite fittingly titled \u201cK\u0131smet.\u201d<\/p>\n
True to its name, \u201cK\u0131smet\u201d is imbued with emotions that resonate deeply with us. Yet the song reaches beyond the connection it establishes with its listeners, opening a door to conversations about the relationship between East and West, as well as questions of identity and belonging. And we have another lovely piece of news to share: we will meet Tallisker in person this March when she performs in Istanbul. Until then, we look forward to whatever surprises she may have in store for us!<\/p>\n
Through this conversation, I wanted to hear about Tallisker\u2019s journey from the beginning to where she is today. As I explored her story, I also had the chance to listen to her entire musical catalogue, a discovery that brought me great joy. Preparing my questions was a pleasure in itself, filled with curiosity and excitement. And with the invaluable translation support of another dear friend of mine, Emre Kalc\u0131, the connection we had begun to build found its way into these pages in two languages.<\/p>\n
